All the choices for 2022 were rubbish, but the outcome of both votes are a shambles. In the first round of voting for 2018, Spain/Portugal had I think 7 votes, then when the same 22 FIFA nobjockeys voted in the second round of voting when there were LESS countries to choose from, Spain/Portugal only got 5 votes. How the fuck does that work?

England and the USA could stage a World Cup tomorrow. None of this bullshit like with Brazil 2014 who's stadia are all falling to bits and they don't even have airports to fly people from one host city to another.

Same with Euro 2012 in Ukraine & Poland. Two backwards-ass commy countries who are also struggling to get shit built in time and they got the vote ahead of Italy, who like England would have no trouble in putting the thing on at the drop of a hat.

Great that new places get to stage the World Cup, but not ahead of countries that will do a better job. It's all capitalism gone mad anyway, Russia = corrupt state, FIFA = corrupt organisation. Qatar? Billions of arab dollars gone in to FIFAs pockets in sponsorships and backhanders.
