I agree with this; partially. This season, has not been his best. It has been pretty average. But, he is slowly re-discovering form. Almost all of the generations of the best players in the world have been attacking, none have been defensive. If you ask me, Vidic is right up there with the best. He has scored plenty of times, match-winning goals and defended at times when we would have lost without him. Ronaldo is on his way up.

I am not too sure i understood that... But let me explain the Champions League to you...

The best teams in Europe are put in groups. In one group, the top two teams go through to the knockout stages. The teams are decided by stickin ya hand in the fish bowl Whoever comes out plays the next one. In the quarter and semi-finals, each team plays twice, once in their home ground and one in the rivals ground. The final is just one game in a neutral venue, in this case it is Rome.

hehe, the finals will never end as a tie. they will have overtime and then eventually a shoot out. just like hockey. however the shoot out only occurs in finals like games.

matty can explain it better, but for the CL tourney a two game match for each round. you play one game at home and one away. then the scores from both games are talleyed and the winner moves to the next round. thats the aggregate. you get more credit for points scored away, its kinda like a tiebreaker. now, in the second game if you were all squared up for the aggregate, even after overtime, it would go to shoot out.

the CL finals are played on a neutral site, so its only one game for all the marbles. and it will have a shoot out if needed.

The 0-0 you are talking about is the English League which is one division of 20 teams who play each other twice, home and away, resulting in 38 games over the course of a season. In the event of last weekend, Man Utd were in a mathematical position where they only needed a tie to claim the championship, because the 2nd placed team could not mathematically amass a higher number of points given the number of remaining games.

I have never seen Messi dive, or Kaka, I just see those players pull the defenders pants down (see Kaka at OT a couple of years ago, Messi in the Camp Nou last season, etc.).

I would never endorse anyone who 'dives' or 'cheats' or 'gains advantages' through unsporting behaviour, whatever you want to call it, as the best in the world. Remember when he got Rooney sent off in Euro 2006? His own club team mate and Ronaldo told the ref to send him off. Some fuckin prick, that lad.
