UK snow!

anyone else get buried in these past days?
it was snowing like gangbusters in oxfordshire, at least 2ft overnight.

... Funny, I was looking at some pics of some friends in England, and they had like a foot, and school was closed and shit... lmao. It's funny how different part of the world freak out when there is snow.. lol

Yeah I hate living in Canada. I freak out if we get 1 cm of the white shit. But that's only because I'm too frickin lazy to shovel. Man I hate shovelling......

LOL, 2ft isnt really that much but like matty said, they rarely get it here in the UK so they freak out! i feel like all of oxford has only one truck with a snow plow, and no one has snow tires so yup, ur buried in for a bit. and thats pretty much the state of the UK now.


ive enjoyed the snow here tho. it reminds me of growing up in minnesota. tho i agree with applc, shovelling is no fun. especially since i dont have a shovel! only a really heavy small metal spade. so i ended up using a large pushbroom! felt a little bit like a dolt but then noticed several neighbors in the same situation as me LOL

ive had wednesday thursday and friday off school because of snow

The temperature here hasn't been above 0 deg farenheit for 3 days. It was -40 last night. The north wall in my garage is a block of ice. -22 deg at 11am. Finally going to above 0 on saturday and hopefully above freezing by Wed.

Oh this was about snow. I've ran out of room to put snow. A guy can only pile snow so high before he has to get a tractor and loader. My mailbox has been baried for 2 weeks, but I made a hole for the post lady. I hope no one in the neigborhood has a fire, becuase you can't find the hydrants. There is literally 4 ft of snow on both sides of the road anywhere you go. There were drits up to the powerlines. But hey, we get more snow it a couple of days. Got to have something to cover up the dirty snow. And the wind always blows here so no matter how much it snows I always end up with a 5ft drift in my driveway.

Blu, I could use your spade right about now, because my shovel is about worn out.lol

It has not stopped snowing here in a week....for some reason they had school this morning, but sent the kids home early, wtf, it was worse in the morning........supposed to get another 7 inches tomorrow.....back is starting to hurt

Can't do shit when it's that cold. The only good thing about it is that it won't snow if it gets too cold. Gives me a break from scooping. Saturday morning 6am step outside and get hit with -26. I woke up really fast.

my ps3 is getting a lot of usage and my dog wants to jump through the roof. cabin fever. I wish I had some snow porn outside my window to stare at. Love it arty.
