Swine Flu

Okay, so it was confirmed this morning with tests from my doctor. I had swine flu! ... It only really lasted 4 days, Thursday-Sunday.

& I survived! Yay! lol

I think my family has the pig flu, im worried about that baby, she is only 3 months and sounds so bad, had about a week and its too early for seasonal flu....

FYI there was pig flu in the 70s, 4 soldiers died so they thought it would be worst pandemic since 1918 flu that killed so many, like 40 million people got vaccinated and from that population GBS was 20x more likely to occur in the vaccinated people, its a nerve disorder that is similar to ALS, so being antigoverment and such my family suffers with no vaccinations.

Yeah I didn't get the vaccination either, obviously, but I usually just have the seasonal vaccination that work offers, and thats it. I don't like needles.

But swine flu, seriously you feel like your lungs are going to burst, I was having a hard time to breath. Boyfriend wasn't home those days, so the only thing I ate in 2 days was a plum because I didn't have any energy to get up. I was freezing cold, I had 3 blankets, a sweatshirt, 2 pairs of socks, pj pants under my jeans, and I was freezing.. even taking a hot bath didn't help.. plus I sounded horrible. Ask tsx, I sounded like a teenage boy hitting puberty... lol

But Thud, get that baby checked, cause it's really painful on the lungs. Really painfull on an adult, I can't imagine a baby.

thank goodness I didn't have swine a few weeks ago. not too many kids in hawaii are getting it, thank goodness

I had every symptom for the swine flu, fever,muscle pain,cold,runny nose,tiredness,headaches and trouble breathing..but luckily i just had bad luck and had a fever with some other disease that caused the breathing and muscle pain so my mum was freaking out like crazy..since she works in health care, she had seen multiple people with swine flu and stuff so she took me to like 50 doctors to make sure the guy wasn't an idiot and misdiagnosed me..was fun had the whole family doing soooo much shit for me it was a blast..

Hahah that's funny Hk. Dammit where's my mommy to take me to the Dr's when i'm sick.. boohoo lol

Holy crap on a stick! I have been dealing with the piggy flu for a month! first the wife gets it then the kids a day later. That was a shitty (very loud and whinny) week. Then about 4 days later we learn that it also causes what looks like pink eye but it is acually a virus in the eyes (piggy flu again) that was another week of whinny family members. And then this week one of the kids decided to see how much she can puke in a three day period! All I will say is that it was a VERY big bucket. AAAGGGGG!!! i need to go to work to get a break.

Mine only lasted a few days and no puking. Was very happy about that, cause I didn't eat for 2 days so was hoping I didn't have to puke my lungs out.

the worst part of all of it is that they are now saying even if you do get the the hinny flu (H1N1 get it? ) you can get it again. I'm not sure what that means for the vaccine but that doesn't matter because they are all out of it here. I'm the lucky one because I was sick as a dog overseas for 3 weeks so my imunne system was in overdrive so i didn't get any of it.

Ahh yeah, mom works in a hosptital and she keeps telling me to go take the shot cause i'll most likely get it again..

I didn't die, so meh, if I get it again, I do..LOL
