first the vikings bring the hurt on MNF.

and last night, that was a classic......
twins come back from 7 games down only 1 month to go.
then extra innings win in the tiebreaker!

That was a great game...i missed watching my Leafs take on the sens..classic battle of ON i am glad i did miss the game as they lost,but i think this game was a must watch. Great comback by the Twins. Tigers should have scored a run in the 11th i believe when they had the bases loaded and the piche seemed to have hit the batter...but the umpire screwed that up..but overall a good run and seems like the Central is always one of the only division that goes all the way down to the wire in the past few years.

but as far as twins, that was an INCREDIBLE game, and I told all tyhe haters, FAVRE is the man, AP didnt do anything, favre won that game, he improves any team he plays for because he is one of the greatest qbs in history and he gets it done when it counts!

being from mn, naturally im a viking fan. im glad they got farve too. but to say that AP did nothing?? the whole packers def was basically designed to stop AP and dare favre to beat them. every def in the NFL keys on AP. yes he had that fumble which could have been called stopped forward progress. he still needs to learn how to protect the ball better. but he also had 50yds against a 3-4 D focusing on him, and a TD as well.

dont forget the O-line. they gave favre 5-7 seconds each passing play. thats amazing. no sacks either.

yes, favre was the man, he stepped it up. he still has it. he is what we needed. a QB that can take advantage of defenses designed to stop AP. but i think the media is giving him too much credit. he was one of many pieces to this puzzle =)

AP is on my fantasy team. I love it.

they wanted to make favre beat them, but do you really think that they wanted favre to beat them, some of those guys played their asses off to beat favre.....as well as some of minn guys played hard as well (jared allen) but to say 50 yards against green bay even if every player was keyed to AP, yawn! 50 is pathetic, i think he is the best player (at the position) in the nfl, but favre came through on a lot of 3rd downs and threw some tight ass outs, even ESPN had to gove him props for that performance.

actuallly I like the whole minn team,. the way they play.....just making a point that favre is still a top rated QB, actually 3rd rated QB in the league

oh o-line did play well, but you cant hold that against favre, look at last week when he threw game winner, he got crushed, he is daa man! and the media is giving him no credit thats the reason for the rant, they are just giving him waaaaaaaaay to much coverage!

but its not just him. the vikings D sacked rogers 9 times. the o-line gave 5-7 secs each play and no sacks, with no pressure on the QB that makes a huge diff. last week, favre had an amazing pass. but the 49ers were keyed against AP, esp with the man patrick willis. AP still got 85yd running and a TD on 18 carries, thats 4.7yds per carry against a run defense. plus he had 20 recieving yards. amazing. true, this last game 50yds and a TD is not spectacular but its no slouch and again, he is taking pressure off of favre, the box is stacked with 8 to stop the run, leaving 1 on 1s for the WR who are actually running great routes for favre who is being accurate and throwing crisp passes.

favre is the bomb. but dont forget to credit the entire team. so much media attention and they forget about the amazing things the team is doing, not just favre.
