Concerts!

So I saw another concert... went to the Crawfish Boil in Nashville, TN. Candlebox, Flyleaf, Soulja Boy, and Offspring played.

Flyleaf was amazing! Candlebox and Offspring were great! And I now officially hate Soulja Boy more than I already did. How "rappers" like him make so much money for not having any talent whatsoever blows my mind. For the entire 45 minutes he was on stage, the only thing coming out of his mouth or the other 7 "rappers" on stage was: "what!" "yeah!" and "scream!" He didn't even rap the majority of his parts in the songs, they just played recordings and scratched them up a little. I sort of thought I was going to get kicked out because of the things I was yelling regarding his "performance." Sorry about the little tirade but being in a place like Nashville and seeing the incredible talent thats playing for tips in the local bars and clubs then seeing this idiot really got me irritated. More props to all the musicians down there, Drum you have got to be good to be playing in that city! Hopefully I'll catch you next time I'm there.

I also saw someone get signed after doing a gig at "The Stage." A fifteen year old guy named Tyler Dickerson officially was signed by Lyrica as I was walking in the door on Sunday afternoon.. we'll see how he makes it!

Yeah, i sort of hate Soulja Boy too. He has not talent AT ALL.

I hate that one too. He is got a song called "Bird Walk" which is just so unbelievably gay.

Hahahaha, Tyler Dickerson? He was dropped by the biggest producer in Nashville. I've seen him live, actually played with him a few times... I wouldn't expect much to come from him.

Had lots of friends that were there. Heard 311 wasn't that bad, either.

oh man, thats gotta be tough to get dropped like that, ouch, haha. i really wanted to do day two to see 311, but we had a bunch of other plans so couldn't do it that night. so where do you normally play and how often? love to see you tear it up when i come down again
